Lions and Tigers and...Frogs???

Each year the Nashville Zoo hosts the Ghouls at Grassmere event which provides a safe and kid friendly environment for families to go to trick or treating. They have hay rides, games, arts and crafts and even educational sessions about their animals. Oh..and lots (and lots) of candy.

Caleb and I have been volunteering at this even for the past couple of years.

2009 - Erin and Me

2011 - Caleb and Me
We decided to take Remy with us this year, you know, to score some extra candy.

Remy did an excellent job staying in character and even managed a few Ribbits. (Ok, so maybe he just had the hiccups.)

Hope your Halloween is hoppin'!

  2. Dear Meg,
Adorable pictures..of all of you. Your little "froggie" looks a bit disappointed that he doesn't have any candy!! I am sure that will change soon. After looking at Caleb's and your costumes over the years, I am glad to see that it is possible to have a "cat" and "dog" get along so well!!
    Love,
    Dad
